Sri Sivabala Yogi
24.01.1935 – 28.03.1994
Just as the sun sets only to rise again, sages of the highest order take birth time and again to uplift the world, spiritually.
Sri Sivabala Yogi is one such extra-ordinary saint of the modern age. He is a well known Tapas Yogi who had attained Self Realization at 14 years of age.
He subsequently did Tapas Yoga in Samadhi for 12 years (23 hours a day for 8 years and 12 hours a day for 4 years) facing East, North, West and South directions. He sometimes remained in Samadhi for months at a time, without any break. He faced many odds during those 12 years but his exceptional courage, unusual mental strength and total detachment makes Him stand out as an exceptional Boy Yogi.
On August 7, 1961 He gained the supreme Tapas Shakti (divine power), which he gives to His devotees as a gift, upon initiation. This Tapas Shakti then helps a devotee to experience happiness, peace and control of mind.
Throughout his life, Swamiji remained established in the Supreme Samadhi, a state of unmodified Silence, in which one is unaware of the world, or the body or the actions. His very presence created an atmosphere of utmost serenity around Him. His mere glance reduced the burden of sorrow and anxiety from the hearts of those who sought His blessings.
He could never, out of infinite love, say no to an aspirant’s request.
Sages of His calibre are not interested in fame or acquiring a following and go about their work detached. The divine will acts through body of such a being providing spiritual guidance to all those who seek His blessings.
No praise is too high for the venerable divine Guru who underwent an awe inspiring Tapas for the sake of love for His devotees.
